Australia has condemned the Hyderabad blast attack. It has condemned all acts of terrorism. These bombs appear to have been directed at innocent people, going about their daily business.
A statement from the High Commission said the Government and people of Australia express their condolences and sympathy for the victims of the bomb attacks in Hyderabad on February 21.
Australia’s Foreign Minister Bob Carr said that he will be writing to India’s Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid to express his support for India’s efforts to prevent terrorist attacks.
“Our thoughts are with the families and friends of those killed or wounded,” Senator Carr said.
Australia has a sizeable number of students from Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh. In addition, it has a growing industrial and research tie-ups.
