Liquid and powder coatings supplier Axalta Coating Systems on Tuesday opened its expanded technology centre at Savli in Vadodara, Gujarat. The technology centre includes an automotive coatings development laboratory and a colour laboratory.
The automotive coatings development laboratory will focus on developing special paint formulations. The new laboratory space will feature contemporary robotic spray applicators that can precisely replicate line application conditions inside customer goods plants, the company said in a statement here. Additional capabilities at the facility also include colour measurement tools and accelerated paint testing equipment.
The company caters to clients in transportation OEM, refinish and industrial sectors.
