Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance has renewed its corporate agency agreement with Thrissur-based Dhanlaxmi Bank, one of the oldest private sector banks in India.
Ramchandra Pandit, Head – Bancassurance, Bajaj Allianz Life, and Manikandan P, Chief General Manager, Dhanlaxmi Bank, signed the agreement at the bank’s office at Guruvayur in Kerala.
Under the agreement, Dhanlaxmi Bank will continue to sell life insurance products of Bajaj Allianz Life, a spokesman for the private sector life insurance company said here.
He quoted Tarun Chugh, MD and CEO, Bajaj Allianz Life, as saying that Dhanlaxmi Bank has been one of its valued partners for nearly a decade now and that the association has been advantageous for both the partners. Bajaj Allianz Life intended to continue the strong partner relationship and expand the customer reach through the bank’s network.
G Sreeram, MD and CEO, Dhanlaxmi Bank, said the partnership has enabled the bank to provide need-based investment and protection solutions to our customers and add value to their lives.
The bank has more than 644 touch points across 15 States. Dhanlaxmi Bank has done business worth ₹365 crore till date for the insurance company.
