Bounce teams up with Maharashtra Metro Rail for cycle sharing in Nagpur

Bounce, a Bengaluru-based start-up offering smart urban mobility solution, has partnered with Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MMRCL) to provide cycle sharing at four metro stations across the Nagpur city as part of the company’s long-term objective of addressing first and last mile connectivity issues in cities.

With this partnership, Bounce will be launching 150 cycles across Nagpur which will be fully functional and available across the city’s four major metro routes. The riders can avail services at a nominal fee of ₹ 1/10 mins with ₹ 300 subscription fee for peddle and ₹ 4/10 mins with ₹ 600 subscription fee for electric.

This expansion brings Bounce’s total cycle fleet, which includes peddle as well as electric to 5,000 spread across five cities in India – Bengaluru, Chennai, Mysuru, Nagpur and Pune.

Bounce cycles were launched alongside the Nagpur Metro inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and attended by several senior dignitaries including Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India, Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra Chief Minister and Dr Brijesh Dixit, Managing Director, Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.
