The Telangana police have registered a case against a website for displaying a fake job notification. After receiving complaints from job seekers, the Information Technology and Communication Department of Telangana brought the website to the notice of the cyber security wing of the police.
“We were alerted about a recruitment notification on http://telangana.gred.co.in purportedly issued by Telangana Agro Development Corporation, misleading job seekers,” a government release has said.
“It (the notification) is found to be fake. Telangana State Agros also issued a clarification that it did not issue any such job notification. The Cyber Security Wing has registered a case and is investigating the matter,” the statement said.
The job aspirants and unemployed youth are requested not to fill up the application forms and pay money on the website, which that is displaying fake job notifications, it said.
