Andhra Pradesh Home Minister P. Sabitha Indra Reddy and several top officials of Dalmia Cement, including its Managing Director, have been named as co-accused in the Jagan Mohan Reddy disproportionate assets case.
The Central Bureau of Investigation in its fifth charge-sheet filed today in the court, has named Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy as accused number one, and auditor Vijay Sai Reddy as accused number 2.
In the fresh charge-sheet filed today, the apex investigating agency has named Dalmia Cement, Eshwar Cement and Raghuram Cement and its executives as co-accused.
The CBI had earlier also named two other cabinet colleagues of the Home Minister, Dharmana Prasada Rao and Mopidevi Venkataramana as co-accused in the case.
The investigating agency is relying on the depositions of about 46 witnesses and over 50 documents in framing the charge-sheet of the case.
In the charge-sheet, the CBI has mentioned about several sections including section 120 B relating to conspiracy and other provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
Apart from Jagan Mohan Reddy and Vijay Sai Reddy, the CBI has named Dalmia Cement Managing Director Puneet Dalmia, senior IAS officer and industries secretary Srilakshmi, State Mining official Rajgopal, Eshwar Cement Managing Director Sajjala Diwakar Reddy, three other officials of Dalmia Cements – Sanjay.S, Neel Kamal Beri, Jaideep Basu and Raghuram Cement.
