The Central Bureau of Investigation has filed the twenty-third FIR in respect of irregularities of coal block allocations. The investigative agency on Thursday said that it has registered a case on charges of criminal conspiracy and criminal misconduct against a Satna, Madhya Pradesh based private company and its directors, members of the 36t Screening Committee and others for allocation of Thesgora B/Rudrapuri Coal Block.
“It has been alleged that Screening Committee deliberately did not follow the guidelines and shown undue favour to the company,” a CBI statement said.
The statement added that searches were conducted at Indore and Satna in Madhya Pradesh and investigation is continuing.
