The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, on Saturday said that a Central team will visit the Hudhud cyclone-affected districts of the State on November 24-25 to assess the damage based on the enumeration done by the State Government.
At a review meeting with the officials of power, agriculture, irrigation, municipal administration and panchayat raj departments, the Chief Minister asked the officials to prepare reports of damage to crops, properties, poultry, marine industry and other infrastructure as well as the amount spent on relief and restoration work so far.
The State Government is expected to request the Centre for better relief package.
According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office, the officials were directed to prepare a report on the amount disbursed for crop insurance, enhanced relief (amount) provided to the victims of cyclone and other budget used for restoration works.
