Cerebra Integrated Technologies is setting up up one of the country’s largest e-waste facilities on a 12-acre industrial land at Narasapura near Bengaluru.
“The facility will be ready for operations from April 2016 and we are targeting revenues of Rs 100 crore by 2018,” said V Ranganathan, Managing Director, Cerebra.
The company has recently commenced the construction of its integrated e-waste recycling facility with a capacity to process 96,000 tonnes of e-waste and equipped for 100 per cent recycling of all collected e-waste with zero landfill.
“As construction of our e-waste plant is going as per schedule, we are closer to our mission to make our environment cleaner and more valuable. E-waste disposal is a critical issue in the world today with huge toxic accumulation,” he said.
“In an effort to garner the largest market share in e-waste business, Cerebra is signing up with channel partners and large corporates across India to expand its network of e-waste collection. The plant will facilitate refining and recycling activities as well as enable refurbishment of e-waste,” Ranganathan said.
