Oil marketing companies have revised the dealers’ commission on cooking gas. Now, a dealer will get Rs 37.25 for selling each 14.2 kg subsidised domestic cylinder against Rs 25.83 earlier.
The new prices would be with effect from the midnight of Saturday-Sunday. "The additional cost would be passed through to buyers. All subsidised cylinders delivered from Sunday will be cost additional around Rs 11.42,” said an IOC official.
Now, a 14.2 kg domestic cooking gas in Delhi would cost around Rs 410.42 against Rs 399 earlier.
In addition, for the non-subsidised domestic cylinders, the dealers' commission has gone up to Rs 38 for every cylinder against Rs 12.17 previously.
Now a non-subsidised domestic cylinder would cost about Rs 921.50 against Rs 883.5 earlier.
“The prices would vary by few rupees in different states because of local levy calculation. We are working out on the exact prices,” said the IOC official.
Fuel pump owners
At the same time, the fuel pump owners want a hike in their commission on selling petrol and diesel. But, no decision has been taken on revising the dealers' commission for petrol and diesel, said the IOC official.
The dealers have demanded revision of commission for every lire of petrol from Rs 1.49 a litre to Rs 2.16 for every litre (a hike of 0.67 paise).
Also, there is a demand for revision of commission on diesel from Rs 0.91 a litre to Rs 1.32 for every litre (increase by 0.41 paise).
