The South Central Railway today cancelled four trains and diverted three others in view of the prevailing weather conditions and heavy rains over north coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh.
The Tirupati-Puri Express, Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Express and Nizamuddin-Visakapatnam Link Express have been cancelled.
Mumbai-Visakapatnam Express scheduled to leave Mumbai tomorrow has also been cancelled. The Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam Passenger has been partially cancelled between Rajahmundry and Visakhapatnam.
The Hyderabad-Howrah East Coast Express has been diverted via Balharshah-Nagpur-Raipur-Jharsuguda.
The Nagercoil-Shalimar Gurdev Express (which left yesterday) was diverted via Vijayawada-Warangal-Balharshah-Nagpur-Raipur-Jharsuguda.
The Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Express (which left CST Mumbai yesterday) was diverted via Kazipet-Balharshah-Nagpur, the SCR said.
