Dancer Ananda to address Harvard conference

Well known dancer-choreographer Ananda Shankar Jayant will be part of the high-profile India Conference at Harvard, US on February 6-7.

The list of speakers from the country in the `Inspire’ series & conference include Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, film personalities Kamal Hassan and Karan Johar, banker Chanda Kochhar, author & MP Shashi Tharoor, and diplomat Nirupama Rao.

At the conference themed ‘India in Transition-Opportunities and Challenges’, at the Harvard School in Boston, Massachusetts, the Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi exponent will present her work, cancer advocacy etc. Experts from the world of business and politics from across the world are also expected to speak at the event.

Ananda is a Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee and a motivational speaker with a popular talk at TED. She is a career Indian Railway Services Officer.
