Managing own life in all aspects – personal, professional and academic is an art that every student needs to master from an early age, said management consultant M.C. Das at the launch of The Hindu Business Line On Campus here recently.

While creative thinking and research orientation are essential, students must learn lessons from the excellent auto management skills produced by ‘Creator of Human Body’ as it runs flawlessly incorporating several things like pumping machines, filters, and other activities.

Asking them to introspect on their mistakes and drawbacks for washing them away from mind to make positive thinking their tool to achieve human excellence, Das told them nine essential mantras – Know your body; know your mind, behaviour, feelings, accept yourself as you are; accept mistakes, accept others and concentrate on attitudes.

Similar tips for academic excellence also exhorted the students to dig deeper into their doubts to take the first realistic step.

Chief Manager P. Srinivas Murthy of SBH explained the growth of the bank and its new initiatives in bringing banking closer to the students’ needs. Very soon, it will be opening the 1,600{+t}{+h} branch and the 1,000{+t}{+h} in Andhra Pradesh, he said.
