Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Madurai Zone and Young Indians (Yi), Madurai Chapter in association with Aparajitha Corporate Services Ltd (ACLS), Madurai, organized the second edition of “Corporate - Academic Connect” aimed at establishing a sustaining and strengthening connectivity among corporate and academic entities, here on Saturday.
K Varadan, Chief Operating Officer- Factory Compliance, Consultation and Audit, Aparajitha Corporate Services Limited, traced upon the genesis and development of HR statutory compliance management practices. The Panel discussion that followed generated insights on HR compliance business verticals and emerging employment/business options
The event attracted wide participation from 67 students and 28 faculty members, from 34 academic institutions like Indian Institute of Management (IIM)-Tiruchirapalli, SASTRA University, Kalasalingam University, Social work and Management institutes, affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University, Bharathidasan University and Anna University.Quiz and case study competitions were held and the top three winners were given awards with certificate of merit. A Kathir Kamanathan ,Vice Chairman, CII Madurai Zone & CEO, Chella Software Private Limited was the Chief Guest for the event.
