Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd (DICV), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daimler AG, has signed a memorandum of understanding with PSG Polytechnic, Coimbatore, to develop skills and enhance opportunities for DICV’s shop-floor employees.
The agreement was exchanged between Marc Llistosella, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, DICV, and R. Rudramoorthy, Principal, PSG Polytechnic, in the presence of K Visalakshi, State Co-ordinator-SPCU, Department of Technical Education, says a press release issued by Daimler.
The project will have a hands-on approach in providing technical training and curriculum development to employees.
This course is approved by the Directorate of Technical Education of Tamil Nadu.
It includes behavioural training, English language training and on the job training apart from other technical subjects, the release says.
