Governor Nikhil Kumar inaugurated the All Kerala Chartered Accountants Conference 2013, jointly organised by the Chartered Accountants Association and Thiruvananthapurm branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
The Governor said he would recommend to the government to get the services of chartered accountants for government projects, schemes and departments.
The government has to view things in a larger perspective and the way of utilisation of funds would be properly monitored. This function can be done only by the auditors, he said.
