In a first of its kind initiative, Jammu and Kashmir has launched a Master’s programme, a university recognised professional course, to develop human resources for the craft sector.
The Masters in Craft Management and Entrepreneurship programme was launched on Monday by Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Shantmanu, at a function at Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre.
The programme has been envisioned by the Craft Development Institute, Srinagar and recognised by the University of Kashmir.
