VIT University has called for applications for admission to the MBA and MBA (IB) Degree programme at its Vellore and Chennai campuses.
The application is available online at www.vit.ac.in/mba2013.
A valid CAT/XAT/MAT/ GMAT score is a prerequisite for admission to the programmes. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their scores in any one of these tests and they will then be called for group discussion (GD) and interviews to be held in major cities in the country.
According to Chancellor Dr. G. Viswanathan, the programmes offers the fully flexible credit system where students get to choose their subjects and opt to study at a pace comfortable to them.
Partnerships
The university has partnerships with leading companies such as the Bombay Stock Exchange, Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant, SAP, Microsoft and IBM to provide opportunities for internships and job placements. VIT enjoys an excellent record of placement of more than 90 per cent of eligible students, says a press release from the university.
Further, students also get a study abroad opportunity through which they can enrol for a second master’s degree abroad or carry out their projects overseas. VIT has signed agreements with leading US universities such as Rochester, Cornell, Purdue, Princeton, State University of New York (SUNY), West Virginia, Clemson, Hartford and Clarkson.
The last date for submission of completed application forms is March 11, says the release.
