Mahindra Navistar Automotives Ltd, part of the Mahindra Group, has announced the inauguration of its first MN Shiksha – Technical Training Initiative at Kuriakose Chavara Memorial ITI here.
MN Shiksha was inaugurated by V. D. Satheesan, MLA of Paravoor constituency. Speaking on the occasion, Nalin Mehta, Managing Director, Mahindra Navistar Automotives Ltd , said the main objective of this initiative is to enhance the knowledge and skills of the technicians on the present day vehicle technology and make them job- ready.
MN Shiksha tie up is with selected ITIs which offer two-year mechanic motor vehicle course approved by the National Council for Vocational Training.
Under the MN-Shiksha initiative, the company will offer 20 days classroom training (both theory and practical on the aggregates supplied) and 20 days on the job training at dealerships for selected 2nd year students.
