The Manipal-based T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) elicited responses from both urban and rural people at its market research fair – ‘Brand Scan 2013’ – during October and November.
A press statement by Chowdari Prasad, Dean (Public Relations) of TAPMI, said that this year the students of TAPMI conducted the market research fair in three formats.
The rural format of the fair was conducted in Kundapura taluk of Udupi district, and semi-urban format in Manipal. The mall format of the market research fair was conducted in Bangalore.
Students carried out market research for 10 companies in this market fair. Nearly 7,000 people visited the market research fair in Kundapura town.
Over 30,000 people visited the mall format of the fair in Bangalore, the statement said.
