The Coimbatore edition of TCS IT Wiz 2013 is scheduled to be held at Sri Krishna College auditorium in Kuniamuthur on August 23.
This inter-school IT quiz event is open to students studying in class VIII to XII (including Pre University Junior College students).
Interested students can register online at www.tcsitwiz.com and have the entries sent through the respective institutions to TCS IT Wiz Coordinator at Ramnagar in the city on or before August 21.
“It is also possible to follow us on @TCSITWiz on Twitter,” a company release said. The hunt for smart Tech Wizard this year will be held across 14 locations including Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Pune.
The winning team from each city will contest for the “Smart Tech Wizard 2013” title in the mega finals to be held in December.
The winners of the UAE edition will also compete in the finals for the title, the release said.
Each student of the winning team in the regional round will walk away with an iPad while the runners-up will be rewarded a Tab along with a specially designed winner’s trophy and the runner’s up trophy.
