Volkswagen India has started the fourth batch of Mechatronics Apprenticeship Programme at its Academy in the Pune plant. The new batch of 16 apprentices will undergo the three and half year programme based on the German dual system of Vocational Education and Training . It exposes students to both theoretical and practical knowledge. Aspirants need to have scored at least 70% in Science and Mathematics in 10th standard and need to clear a written test and a personal interview conducted by the training faculty.
