The Aligarh Muslim University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Wisconsin for a Student Exchange Programme between the two universities for a period of three years.
A spokesman for AMU said the MoU was signed yesterday by the AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Zameer Uddin Shah and Prof. Paul DeLuca, Jr., Vice-Chancellor of Academic Affairs, Wisconsin University.
Gen. Shah, currently in the US, visited the University of Wisconsin to work out the details for creating an “innovative partnership” with the university, the spokesman said.
This includes a programme for linking “academia, industry and the corporate world”, he added.
