Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh has made it to the band of "601-800" among higher education institutions worldwide, according to the Times Higher Education World Rankings, 2015-2016.
Within India, the university has been ranked 11 out of 19 institutions including IISc and IITs listed in the rankings.
Andhra University had been ranked on the basis of parameters such as requirements for teaching, international outlook and industry income components, according to a release.
