The Supreme Court has accepted the Centre’s proposal that no exam for third Indian language, including Sanskrit, will be conducted in this academic year in KV schools.
KV students can take exams for German language as an optional subject in the present academic year, the Supreme Court said.
Students will be free to learn German or any other language as optional subjects, the apex court said.
Students will take exam of Sanskrit, any other modern Indian language only from the next academic session, the apex court said.
