BSE Institute, a subsidiary of premier bourse BSE, has collaborated with the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management for a Master of Science in Finance programme.
Spread across four semesters, the masters course in finance is a two-year full-time degree programme, BSE said in a statement today.
The first of the four semesters will be conducted at the BSE Institute campus in Mumbai and the remaining three semesters would be conducted at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in Frankfurt, Germany.
The programme would begin in September this year and the last date for submission of admission forms is July 31, it added.
“This programme gives the student a unique opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of finance and a truly global perspective by learning and experiencing financial products, services and markets in the Asian and European contexts and environments,” said Ambarish Datta, MD & CEO, BSE Institute.
MSc in Finance is a cross-continent programme designed to help students earn a masters degree in finance and build a culturally diverse peer network with students from different countries.
The programme will be conducted partly in Asia and partly in Europe, thereby offering students access to diverse classmates, companies, industries, and partners.
The two institutions will also offer a 20 per cent scholarship to some students, the statement said.
“MSc in Finance acknowledges and actively incorporates an international dimension towards the study of finance. The bi-national set-up with the BSE Institute and the Frankfurt School as two regarded educational and research institutions in the field of financial education, supports the curriculum’s global agenda,” said Udo Steffens, President and CEO, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
