Carnegie sets up Tata Chair for strategic affairs

The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace has established the Tata Chair for Strategic Affairs in recognition of Ratan Tata’s leadership on Carnegie’s Board of Trustees.

Senior Fellow Ashley J Tellis is the inaugural chair. Tellis previously served as a senior adviser in the US State Department in Washington, at the US Embassy in New Delhi, and on the US National Security Council, where he was a special assistant to President George W. Bush.
