The Manipal-based TA Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) has entered into the CFA Institute University Recognition Programme.
A press release by TAPMI said here on Thursday that TAPMI’s Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Banking and Financial Service (PGDM - BKFS) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) have been acknowledged as incorporating at least 70 per cent of the ‘CFA Programme Candidate Body of Knowledge’ (CBOK) and placing emphasis on the ‘CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice’ within the programme.
Through participation in this programme, TAPMI is eligible to receive a limited number of student scholarships for the CFA Programme each year, it said.
CFA Institute is the global association of investment professionals that sets the standard for professional excellence. The release said that CFA Institute has more than 1.31 lakh members in 144 countries.
It said that the CFA Programme sets a standard for developing the skills, standards, competence, and integrity of financial analysts, portfolio managers, investment advisers, and other investment professionals worldwide.
