DCB Bank has partnered with BITS Pilani to aid start-ups all over India in areas such as funding and mentoring.
This will be an annual event where start-ups are invited and get assessed on their idea and business plan, supported by mentoring sessions to help them pitch and network with potential investors, according to company officials.
The mentors include Murali Natrajan - Managing Director and CEO, DCB Bank; J.K. Vishwanath, Chief Credit Officer, DCB Bank; Anant Vidur, Venture Capitalist, Bessemer Capital; Sujoy Chaudhary, Sales Strategy, Practo and Anuradha, Chief Internal Auditor, DCB Bank.
Called Conquest, the 2015 edition saw more than 1,500 registrations, including participants from abroad, only 50 teams have made it to the shortlist. The Bangalore leg saw the participation by 12 teams, company officials said.
