Rattan Lal Hangloo, Vice-Chancellor, University of Kalyani, West Bengal has bagged the 23rd Dewang Mehta Business School Award for his outstanding contribution to education and 'Best' Vice-Chancellor of the country.
The Dewang Mehta Business School Award is in recognition of his leadership, development, innovation and industry interface of the University of Kalyani.
Hangloo was also recently honoured by Harvard University which selected him as a member of election analysis team of the Harvard University.
A historian and political analyst, Hangloo is a professor in the University of Hyderabad, currently serving in the University of Kalyani.
The Dewang Mehta Awards, instituted by the Dewang Mehta Foundation (DMFT), Mumbai recognise talent and leadership among educational Institutes across India, according to a release.
