The Department of Commerce of Manipal University organised a symposium on ‘Corporate Financial Re-engineering’ in Manipal recently.
A press release said here that the event was organised in association with Charted Institute of Management Accountants. K. Ramanarayan, Vice-Chancellor of Manipal University, inaugurated the symposium.
Presentations on ‘Future of finance and role of management accountants,’ ‘Ethics in accounting and governance,’ ‘Regulatory perspectives in corporate governance,’ ‘Business transformation in financial services sector,’ and ‘Best practices in corporate governance with references to banking sector,’ were made at the symposium, the release said.
