The theme of the 11th All India Management Students’ Convention, organised by Madras Management Association on October 12 and 13, will be ‘Entrepreneurship, the road less travelled’.
A press release from MMA says that this forum will not only provide management students the opportunity to prove their mettle, but will also give them the all-important opportunity to interact and learn from industry leaders and practising management professionals. Beyond these aspects, the convention also allows for top management institutes in the country to benchmark themselves with the best.
It expects to see participation from over 2,000 management students nationally.
The Convention will include business sessions that will cover topics such as DNA of the entrepreneur, success stories, entrepreneurship enablers and meet the CEO – an interactive session. It will have the final rounds of contests organised for management students, including a paper presentation, business plan and debate competition.
Ranganath N.K. Managing Director, Grundfos Pumps India Pvt Ltd and Prof K. Kumar, Professor of Entrepreneurship, N.S. Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning, IIM, Bangalore, will address the delegates during the inaugural session on October 12 and Lakshmi Narayanan, Chairman, Cognizant, will deliver the valedictory address and give away the prizes to the winners of various competitions on October 13.
