Over 30 companies are expected to participate in the campus placement programme of the Institute of Management Technology (IMT)-Hyderabad.
“The response received from the industry was overwhelming with many domestic as well as international recruiters making their presence felt in the process. A total of 23 companies from various sectors participated in the process till now,’’ Dr V. Panduranaga Rao, Director, IMT-Hyderabad, said in a release.
Around 31 companies were likely to participate in the forthcoming weeks of placement season, he added.
Prominent among the companies which participated in the process were HDFC Ltd, YES Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Samsung, Glenmark Pharma, Ashok Leyland, Toyota Kirloskar, SBI Life, Tech Mahindra and Naukri.com, among others.
“A health and wellness market leader offered a unique strategy profile for two students,’’ the director said.
Other profiles on offer included investment banking, equity research, B2B marketing, mergers and acquisitions, IT consulting, brand management, integrated marketing communications, strategic sourcing and corporate strategy.
