Organisation for Managerial Entrepreneurial Guidance and Assistance, the student consulting wing of T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal, will organise a three-day entrepreneurial contest, ‘Defi’, from October 12.
A press release said here on Monday that the event is aimed at bringing out the entrepreneurial talent of students. Participating teams are provided an opportunity to start a venture for three days and make profits.
The release said that 33 teams presented their ideas for ‘Defi’. Of them, 11 made it to the next round. These teams will be judged on the basis of the profits they make and the transparency in their accounting. They will also be judged on the ideas and the implementation of such ideas.
