TAPMI market research fair

The market research fair of the Manipal-based T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) – BrandScan – began in Mangalore recently.

A press release by Chowdari Prasad, Dean (Branding & Promotions) of TAPMI, said here that mall format of BrandScan was organised at City Centre Mall in Mangalore.

Ravi Sheshadri, Vice-President and Chief Compliance Officer of Bharti Axa Life Insurance, who inaugurated the event at Manipal, stressed the importance on launching businesses in tier 2 and tier 3 cities and in rural markets. R.C. Natarajan, Director of TAPMI, welcomed the gathering.

BrandScan is in its 20th edition this year. The management students of TAPMI conduct market research through disguised games in this market research fair. This year, the organisers have included three formats of market research. They are: mall format, rural format and fair format.

While the mall format was conducted in Mangalore, the rural format will be conducted in Kundapur of Udupi district on November 3. The fair format will be conducted in Manipal on November 4.
