Over 1,000 students from 130 schools in Kerala participated in the TCS IT Wiz 2012 – the inter school IT quiz - conducted and organised by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
After the written preliminary elimination round, the top six schools made it to the finals. Abhijith Menon and Sachin S. from Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Eroor, school walked away with the winners’ trophy, followed by Karthik G and Vasudev Chakarvarti from Bhavans Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad, as runners up.
K. Padmakumar, Inspector General of Police, Kochi Range, and Santhosh Kurup, Centre Head, TCS Kochi, gave away the prizes.
