Employment is not the only objective of education and building life skills and personality development is important, the new Union Human Resources Development Minister, Prakash Javadekar, said on Thursday.
"I, along with the two Ministers of State, will work like a team to work towards providing good quality education to all," Javadekar, who took charge today, told reporters here.
On the issue of doing away with 'no detention policy' in the upcoming new education policy, he said he will look into the matter and hold discussions on the same.
