The Manipal-based T.A. Pai Management Institute will conduct a workshop on ‘Developing digital libraries using open source software’ from January 20 to 24.
A press statement by the institute said the workshop focuses on ‘Green Stone Digital Libraries’ – an open source software developed by Unesco – used for developing digital libraries.
The workshop will train the participants in installation, configuration and customisation of the software. Narendra Kumar from National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources, New Delhi, and Sreekumar from Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, will be the key resource persons.
