The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) on Friday launched a public outreach programme ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat’ to address subscriber grievances on 24X7 basis harnessing the latest IT tools. Unveiling the programme, Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatraya said, “The programme will increase stakeholder participation, not only by addressing their grievances but also inviting their suggestions and views.” Central PF Commissioner KK Jalan said in addition to prompt action on complaints, an online facility, EPFiGMS (Employees’ Provident Fund internet Grievance Monitoring System), has also been made available on EPFO’s website, adding that at the end of 2014-15, only around 2,000 grievances were left pending in all the 120 offices of EPFO put together. ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat’ will serve as a platform for employers and employees to air their grievances and also to put forth constructive suggestions.
