Five events to watch out for today

Apple is likely to release its latest software, iOS 9, today. It will be available for download in all devices that currently support iOS 8. Apple’s iOS 9 comes with an improved Siri, transit directions in Maps, a new Flipboard-style News app, a new multitasking screen, and an easier way to highlight and select words using the keyboard on the iPad.

The PMK will release its draft manifesto for the 2016 assembly elections on Wednesday. PMK founder-leader S Ramadoss said that after the draft resolution is released, opinion will be sought from members of the general public and experts in various sectors and their ‘constructive’ suggestions incorporated.
