Congress President Rahul Gandhi will visit Odisha on Friday. This comes a day after his mother and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and he visited their respective constituencies in Amethi and Rae Bareli. His visit assumes significance as Odisha is preparing for their twin elections to the state assembly and the Lok Sabha later this year.

South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa will be visiting India for two days. He will arrive in New Delhi on Friday and will also be the guest of honour at the Republic Day celebrations on Saturday. He will be accompanied by nine ministers and a 50-member business delegation. This is Ramaphosa’s first maiden India.

IndiGo said it will operate daily non-stop flights from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Hubli to Kannur from Friday. The airline will also operate daily international flights between Kannur and Doha as well services between Kannur and Kuwait for six days a week from March 15, 2019.
