Prime Minister Narendra Modi to start BJP’s campaign in West Bengal from February 2, for the coming Lok Sabha election with rallies in the border district of North 24 Parganas and the industrial town of Durgapur. The Durgapur rally will be part of BJP’s ‘Ganatantra Bachao’ (save democracry) programme in the state.

BJP President Amit Shah will be in Amroha on Saturday to participate in a meeting of booth presidents and other office bearers of western Uttar Pradesh. There are around 1.75 lakh booth-level workers in Uttar Pradesh who are likely to be given the task of reaching out to the voters by Amit Shah ahead of the general election.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate first-ever business process outsourcing (BPO) unit in northern Kashmir's Bandiporadistrict on February 3. Narendra Modi will visit to all three regions of Jammu and Kashmir to lay foundation stones for host of projects. Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) has called for a complete shutdown to protest against his visit.

The fifth  and the final one-day-international (ODI) cricket match between India and New Zealand will take place on February 3 at Westpac Stadium in Wellington, New Zealand. Kiwis won the fourth ODI by eight wickets against India.

U.S. Special Representative for North Korea Stephen Biegun will travel to Seoul on February 3, to meet with his North Korean counterpart. They are likely to discuss steps to advance the de-nuclearization of North Korea.
