H ome Minister Rajnath Singh will chair a meeting of Chief Ministers of the north-eastern states in Guwahati on Saturday. The meet will discuss strategies to deal with insurgents based in Myanmar. The meeting comes a month after the Indian Army conducted a surgical strike on the camps of NSCN-K and other militant groups in Myanmar after insurgents killed 18 Army soldiers in an ambush in Manipur. The Chief Ministers of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura will take part in the meeting.
