The leakage of the pirated version of recent blockbuster Premam had triggered a row, prompting its producer to resign from various film associations.

Greece faces a deadline to present new reform proposals to Euro Zone ministers to secure a deal with creditors. If experts from the European Commission, ECB and IMF deem the proposals viable, Euro Zone finance ministers will meet on Saturday to recommend opening talks with Athens. The drama goes on!

India is likely to sign the inter-governmental pact for the US tax compliance law FATCA today, a move that is expected to help it fight tax evasion. The Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act is aimed at combating possible tax evasion by Americans through financial entities of other countries.

The Supreme Court is to hear a crucial plea in connection with the Vyapam scam. The request is moved by Congress leader Digvijay Singh and three whistleblowers, seeking an apex court-monitored CBI probe into the Madhya Pradesh scam. Earlier, the court had granted four months time to the SIT to close a probe into the case.
