A constitution bench of the Supreme Court will today hear pleas including one by the Centre seeking “clarification/modification” of its August 11 order to permit the use of Aadhaar card for availing benefits under social welfare schemes, including as an identity proof. The bench will take up petitions challenging the validity of the Aadhaar scheme.

Mercedes-Benz India is to launch the Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV today. The new variant from the German luxury carmaker is essentially a facelift of the M-Class. The car is likely to be priced in India around ₹60-70 lakh.
