The initial public offer of Bengaluru-based microfinance institution Ujjivan Financial Services Ltd will hit the primary market from today, till May 2, to raise ₹875-882 crore. This constitutes a fresh issue of ₹358.16 crore and the rest from an offer-for-sale of over 2.49 crore equity shares by existing shareholders.

The government will consider today two new proposals, including one from Infosys, for setting up SEZs. Infosys has proposed to set up an IT/ ITeS zone in Bengaluru over four hectares. Chhindwara Plus Developers has proposed to set up a multi-product SEZ in Madhya Pradesh over 1,320 hectares.
