ICICI Lombard will make a debut in markets today. The general insurance company’s IPO was oversubscribed three times last week. This is the second public sale of the ICICI Group this fiscal.

Punjab National Bank ’s board meeting will be held today. The Board is likely to consider capital raising of up to Rs 5,000 cr. The bank would consider raising a Common Equity Tier (CET) capital.

Finance Ministry will be organising Mudra promotion camps, starting tomorrow at Varanasi, across the country to promote self-employment opportunities. The camps will be organised till October 17. The camps will be also spread awareness on digital payments and social security schemes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to interact with the chiefs of public sector banks today. The interaction will be via an interactive platform Pragati, launched by PM Modi. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is also expected to be present during the interaction.

The first edition of India Mobile Congress is all set to kick-start from today. Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani will share the stage with Bharti Airtel’s Sunil Mittal and Idea Cellular’s Kumar Mangalam Birla.
