Gopichand P Hinduja, Co-Chairman of the Hinduja Group, has complimented Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s new Cabinet.

“I would like to compliment Modi for having announced a full-fledged Cabinet with portfolios being allocated to senior and junior ministers, indicating his decisiveness and clarity of thought. I believe the choice of ministers is excellent as all of them exude great energy and will synergise with Modi’s objectives to galvanise the Indian economy, both from a social as well as an economic perspective,”' said Hinduja, who had earlier endorsed Modi's business-friendly image.

Stating that the Cabinet seems “implementation and success-oriented which should bode well for India,” he added, “The swearing-in ceremony is indicative of the business-like nature of the Cabinet as a whole.”

The London-based Hinduja chieftain added that he would “take the liberty of suggesting the incorporation of time-bound accountability and monitoring of this Cabinet and its performance, so as to ensure that results happen quickly and are in tune with Modi’s overall vision.”
