HCG unveils Tomotherapy treatment for cancer

HCG Enterprises has unveiled the first Tomotherapy H Series with HDA configuration machine for treating cancer.

Developed by Accuray, this Tomotherapy H Series with HDA configuration features the TomoHDA System, which helps in accurate treatment of cancerous cells through targeted dosages, can aid in better planning, faster delivery and better quality of the treatment, according to company executives.

It works on the principle of Intensity modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) the core of Radiotherapy, the machine comes with a 3D image-guided, full spectrum radiation therapy system, offers multiple new benefits including performance enhancements, unrivalled dose distributions and faster treatments, according to company executives.
