Hearing on the bail petition moved by A Revantha Reddy, Telangana TDP MLA, in the cash-for-vote scam, has been posted to Friday.
When the matter came up for consideration in the High Court today, Advocate General Ramakrishna Reddy sought time for filing additional counter.
Revanth Reddy’s advocate contended that the prosecution has been given adequate time to present their views and that he has been in custody for the last 24 days along with two other accused Harry Sebastian and Rudhra Udaysimha, and all of them have been cooperating in the case.
Rejecting the contention of the Anti-Corruption Bureau seeking time till Monday for providing their version, the court posted the case for Friday for further hearing.
Revanth Reddy and two others were arrested by the ACB in the case where independent nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson was sought to be bribed to support the TDP-backed candidate Vem Narendar Reddy in the council polls.
